A character must be at least 5th level to add on a second class. Talk with the DM whereas there may be role-playing involved with this transition.

A character may freely use all class skills and abilities at all times.

Gaining EXP – When you are awarded EXP, you are obligated to place all of the EXP into the class with the lowest EXP. EXCEPTION – Prestige classes: You choose where your EXP is placed (you still must put 100% of the awarded EXP into a single class).

Stats:

Base Attack Bonus – Add em up

Attacks Per Round – SPECIAL – Look at your new “Added up” Base Attack Bonus. Find that number on the chart on one of your classes, and use the number of attacks based on that number (you may use the chart which most benefits you). Example, a 5th level Ranger / 2nd level rogue character would have a Base Attack Bonus of +5 & +1 totaling +6. +6 on the Ranger chart would give him 2 attacks per round.

Hit Points – Add em up

Saves – Add em up

Skills – Add em up – NOTE: Max ranks is now calculated using your effective level
